Our horticulture project is based in the grounds of Mardy Park Resource Centre, in Abergavenny. The project is easily accessed via a pathway suitable for disabled access. Participants are involved in horticultural therapy and training, in the open ground, in a commercial polytunnel, or in the log cabin. You can see our beehive and insect houses across the site; we also have an outdoor pizza oven. Classroom based activities include a range of accredited and non-accredited training, which covers a range of horticulture, art, craft, music, vocational and employability skills.
A wide range of participants from the local community attend this project, including those with mental health, learning and/or physical disabilities.
